Xiaomi Coming Up With New Streaming Box To Compete With Roku And Apple

Chinese leading brand Xiaomi is famous for its phones in mobile market. It is competing with other brands like Sony, Samsung and HTC in the market. Now to participate globally Xiaomi has decided to launch its streaming device named Xiaomi’s mi box which will compete with leading streaming devices companies like Roku , apple and amazon TV’s. It was launched at Google’s I/O developer conference in Mountain View about a week ago. With this device you can enjoy live sports and movies and you can get many games and applications to your living room. You can watch 4K videos on your full HD TV screens. It comes with Bluetooth technology which enables to play games via game pad from remote control as well.

Xiaomi come forward with this gadget in U.S market only but its global VR Huggo Barra showing its hope to come up in other countries as well. As Xiaomi is taking services from Google services so it cannot capture china’s market but we will launch this gadget in Indian as well as international market in the long run.

The availability of this gadget and price are not reported yet and it is also unclear that how precisely Xiaomi would rival with its competitors like Roku and Apple. Where Roku has made its name in the field of streaming devices, Apple along with other devices are still looking for that big break. Roku is also providing a dedicated Roku help for its streaming devices. Barra without going into much details claims that we will touch that part of market which remained untouched yet and, not served well from other companies.

Android TV was Introduced  by Google two years back and it has made a remarkable partnership with leading TV manufacturing companies viz Sony and sharp to promote their smart TV. These companies are selling android TV from 2015 onwards, now google has also join their hands with RCA, BEKO, Grundig and Vestel.

The company did not get its pace with android boxes produced by the Razor initially, due to technical failures and the unavailability of Nexus player over a month was conceded by Android TV program supervisor Sascha Prueter and in reply to this he replied that these devices are not easy to make.

Motivated with success of selling over 25million Chromecast devices till date. Google able to achieve its partnership with new companies: Toshiba, Polaroid, Philips and Magnavox which will built its TV set that supports casting. The first cast compatible TV (VIZIO) was launched in March.
