Twitter online social networking service has recently experienced a downfall in its revenue and to keep the graphs high Twitter recently bagged the right to live stream NFL games and is reported to sign a deal with Apple TV. It is anticipated soon Twitter app will be seen on Apple Platform.

According to the reports by New York Times twitter is already having a talk with Apple regarding this deal and once the deal finalizes users of micro –blogging service will be able to watch a popular live stream on Apple TV.

Recently, Twitter got the rights to live stream NFL games which commence on Sept 15. This news resulted in higher Twitter stocks and investors are gaining faith that with signing this deal with Apple, Twitter will come out its slow phase of growth and falling revenues. Twitter is broadening its live streaming efforts by signing various deals with of CBS News, Wimbledon, National Basketball Association, and more. Also, through Apple platform Twitter will be able to reach more people as people like to watch their favorite sport on TVs rather than mobiles and PCs. Nowadays Twitter is losing its user base and it is not even able to hold people interest. Moreover, it is also having a rough time to getting new users to sign up and hence losing its credibility.

Now with Live streaming, Twitter wants to attain its previous position but the competition, however, sees difficult as Snapchat and Facebook are also aiming for some similar deals to broaden their platform.

According to the report, such a partnership will also benefit Apple plans for the TV business, as Apple has more than 10 million customers in U.S. Twitter got the rights to live stream NFL games in April. Twitter also live streamed the Wimbledon coverage and it also has plans for streaming NBA, Major League Soccer (MLS) and Turner. This has accounted the micro-blogging service 313 million monthly active users in the second quarter of 2016.
