Before watching offline movies or shows you have to download the content from the channel when you are online. Once it gets downloaded you can watch it anytime without any need of internet. Steps to watch Netflix offline
- Download an update: If you have installed an app on your device, then don’t forget to check the update available online. If available, then download it at once.
- Open download menu: After performing an update, you need to open the download folder. All downloads started earlier will be displayed on the screen and the remaining which are in the queue will also appear on the screen.
- Click on a particular show to start downloading: Once you get a list of shows or movies on the screen, click to start download particular movie or show. When the downloading gets completed, you can start watching the show on the screen without any hassle. If you want to check the timings of any other program or show, click on that show and get details about it.
Like Amazon, there isn’t any limitation on downloading the content in a day. You can download content without any limit. Whereas in Amazon, you can download only 3 shows per day. The main disadvantage of this feature is that you can’t download a complete show in a single day.
- Check the data usage: If you are using the mobile data to download the content, then first check the daily quota or monthly data available because downloading a complete show or movie consumes more than 250 MB on average. If you are downloading an HD video or show, then it will consume more amount of data. The best way to get out of this problem is; set a restriction on data usage. When you start downloading a data, then it should always connect to Wi-Fi network.
For your information, we want to mention here that if you are using a smartphone, then there is no need to download HD content on it because you will not be able to find a difference in the picture quality of HD and normal content with a naked eye.
