Recently, Amazon has launched its first live video show by the name of Style Code Live. It is a fashion show that people can watch on the internet or on Amazon Fire TV. People who have viewed the show found it really interesting.
As we all know that the majority of the online video streaming services can be accessed on demand. People just require to hit a button and they will be able to watch the live program that is being streamed online. That’s the conventional way of watching live shows, but what if the shows are boring? People will have to watch it or turn the TV off. But, Amazon Fire TV is coming with a feature that will allow people to find live shows. The company is also waiting to have more live shows for the users of Fire TV in the near future.
Going more into the details for the software update that was done recently, ‘AFTV News discovered a few findings of the new buttons that will be designated as the ‘live stations’ and ‘live channels’ along with the programs that are ‘Watch Live’ buttons and ‘On Now’.
Those who are worried that they are going to miss an episode should not worry anymore, as they will be able to watch episodes after they goes on air. The shows will be displayed on the original air date, but people will be able to watch on-demand shows at the completion of the original broadcast.
It will be immature to say whether people will be able to see more live shows or is it going to pave the way for live streams from various television networks. The option seems very much possible, but there is still a lot that needs to be analysed. Already, there are many services that lets people stream live TV programming without making use of the cable box, including PlayStation Vue and Sling TV.
An interesting aspect about this is that both the options are available through Amazon Fire TV apps. Amazon is going to launch its live TV service in the near future. The company can also expand its add-on subscription service in which they have to pay for Showtime, Starz and a host of other channels through Amazon. This will include all the 3rd party live TV streaming services as well.
There is no information as to when the new live TV features is going to get enabled. The features are still in progress, so let’s see what happens.
